LPDCM/10-C – Durabase de-coupling membrane

When installing ceramic tiles and natural stone products as the final floor finish, Nu-Heat strongly recommends using a decoupling membrane – this is a widely recommended approach to laying tiles on a timber or solid sub-floor whether or not UFH is present.

A decoupling membrane is a separation barrier between the tiles and the substrate ensuring that any movement or cracks are isolated and therefore do not transfer through to the tiles.

Only a decoupling membrane suitable for underfloor heating should be used.
